The mission of the Gilbert Primary School Learning Commons is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information to prepare them to be critical thinkers, voracious readers, skillful researchers and ethical users of information. We strive to provide experiences appropriate to support the curriculum and meet the recreational needs or our learning community. Critical thinking, Collaboration, Creativity and Communication is supported through opportunities for collaboration between the classroom teacher, and the Learning Commons team (Teacher Librarian, Technology Integration Specialist, Literacy Coach and Library Assistant).
